Ila, Olive & Ash Soapery

Olive and Ash Soapery is owned by Ila Newman, a fourteen-year old, who lives in Twisp, WA, and attends Liberty Bell High School. She started making soap in July of 2020, as a sort of “quarantine hobby, ” the product of which she hoped to eventually sell. Ila always uses pure and natural ingredients, like dyes that come from plants, and Essential Oils. She believes it is an important part of maintaining healthy skin. She continues to make soap because she can quote “express my creativity freely in a way that functionally serves my community, through quality skin care.”

Violet

Violet, Chrafty Jewelry

My name is Violet and I am 13 years old. I love to make things with my hands so I decided to make and sell jewelry on Etsy and The Mind Buffet. In my free time I like to read books, make jewelry, hangout with friends, and play board games with my family. I also love cats, and I am a follower of Christ. I would really appreciate it if you could check out my jewelry!

Willow, Salt & Light Candles

It all begins with an idea. Hi! I’m Willow Frady. I’ve been making candles for a few years with my mom as a little side project, and just recently took over the business myself. I love making delicious smelling, colorful candles for people! Some other arts I enjoy are painting, drawing, theatre, and music.

Lucien, Pour Paintings

My name is Lucien. I am a student at Liberty High School. I play football, baseball, basketball art happens to be my escape and my mental get away. I live in Twisp and do my work in my garage. My mom introduced me to pour painting last year during quarantine as a school project. I fell in love with it instantly, at first it was one of the hardest but relaxing thing I have done. The thing I love about this kind of art is you can’t mess up you cant do anything wrong. The hard part about it is saying it’s done it’s beautiful because you always feel like you can do more to your piece and sometimes you can’t. I appreciate having my escape from the real world.
